POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED – Human Resources Administrator – Delta BEC, Lynnwood, Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa

Delta Built Environment Consultants (DeltaBEC), a young, vibrant Consulting Engineering firm urgently requires the services of a Human Resources Administrator.
The Human Resource department is in need of an administration clerk that will assist with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources department.

Work Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Opening and closing of personnel files.
  • Ensure that all employees’ personnel files consist of the following documents, ID, CV, Course certificates, Qualification, Photo of employee, Confidentiality agreement etc.
  • Ensure each employee on site has a signed and approved allowance form.
  • Update and maintain employee loans and allowances.
  • UIF Registrations, terminations and salary changes (U-filing).
  • Scan, file and save all employee personal information.
  • Compile documents for performance reviews.
  • Archive all redundant HR personnel files bi-annually.
  • Ensure all HR payments issued by HR Manager are given through to finance timeously.
  • General filing of all HR and BEE related documents.
  • Draw up letter of increase for employees on a monthly basis.
  • Submit combined sheet on a weekly basis and ensure hours correspondence with leave transactions.
  • Inform the Human Resources Manager and relevant Supervisors of contract expiring on a monthly basis.
  • Responsible for confirmation of employee’s employment and terminations.
  • Update staff info sheet on a weekly basis in accordance to personnel movements.
  • Ensure that employee’s personnel files database is maintained and up to date.
  • Update and maintain personnel information on the payroll system.
  • Assist with any other duties as required by the Human Resource Manager.

Experience Required

  • Basic knowledge of Word and Excel
  • 1-3 years of experience in administration
  • Experience with Payspace would be advantageous

  • Diploma in Administration or HR would be advantageous
